Top Gainers and Losers (Nifty)

Fourth consecutive fall was recorded in the Indian stock market today. Both BSE and NSE closed in the red today due to selling pressure. Today, the Sensex fell by 1.12% or 562.34 points and closed at 49,801.62 points. On the other hand, Nifty today closed at 14,721.30, down 1.27% i.e. 189.15 points.

Investors are very cautious ahead of the results of the US Federal Reserve, due to which the market has declined today. Talking about the sectoral indices, the S&P BSE Oil & Gas index fell 3% today, while Metals, Power, Realty and Capital Goods indices fell over 2%. Nifty showed bearish trend on daily scale.

Today, the Sabha sectoral indices closed in the red. The Nifty PSU Bank index declined 4% today. At the same time, BSE Midcap and Small Cap registered a decline of more than 2%. These 7 stocks showed the most movement in the stock market today.
